March Purchases from LEC

Most of my shopping lately has been online at Lands' End Canvas! My latest purchase has been the Cable Knit crewneck sweater which is currently on sale for a limited time for $16 (originally $59.50). I paid $18.99 for it, but I'm OK with that :). I'm wearing the soft melon heather color today which is a light orange color with pink undertones. I also have the natural color which I am wearing here. I love this sweater--I think it looks great with a button down shirt and you can't go wrong with a classic cable knit pattern. Egyptomaniac has a review of this sweater here. I'm wearing a size small--my usual LEC and J. Crew size.

LEC Cable knit crewneck sweater in soft melon heather, Forever 21 gingham shirt / gifted necklace from a student


My other March spending items from LEC include the Floral poplin shirt in Daylily Orange Plaid. It is BRIGHT but I love it, and I'm thinking of pairing it with the equally bright No. 2 pencil skirt in vibrant flame. I ordered a size small in this one too.


At my local Sears today there was an extra 50 to 60% off all of the LE sale items which were already marked down 50%. There wasn't much left in my size, but I did get a pair of Emma Classic Captoe ballet flats for $14.99 (online it is $23.99 from $49.50) in the gray/black two-tone color. I'm wearing them in the navy color today and I also have them in plain black.



I also like to look in the Classifieds Section at LEC and On the Counter Section at LE every Saturday to see what deals are to be had. I've been buying multiples of the Heritage Cardigan on sale lately, and I spotted the Light Emerald color today up for grabs for only $11.99 in select sizes (regular $39.50). Have you been doing a lot of shopping at LE or LEC lately too? It seems like there are a lot of good deals to choose from! Don't forget to also google for a free shipping code! Today I used code SWIMHQ and pin 1234 for free shipping (no min.) which is good until 3/12.

  1. i am totally taken with that melon/coral crewneck sweater! it looks great paired with the blue. i really like classic pieces like that and cardigans, of course, so i think i really need to check out LE and LE canvas!

    1. I'm glad that you like the melon color too! I know Egyptomaniac did not like this color because it is very summer like for the weight of the material, but I think it looks pretty with this blue gingham shirt. I think LE and LEC is a great place to stock up on classic pieces. I check the Classified and On the Counter sections every weekend to see what the deals are! As the week continues, the prices get even further reduced!

I was able to snag 2 more colors of the Heritage cardi today for 9$! (not that I need any more of those, but at less than $10, it's hard to resist......)
